This was our first time participating in the City of Temple Christmas Parade! We're excited to announce that out of over 100 floats, we placed 8th! Not bad for our first time, if you don't mind me saying. Here is the full top 10 list:
First Place: Encore Landing Apartment Homes
Second Place: SPJST Home Office
Third Place: SPJST
Fourth Place: : Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church
Fifth Place: Gentiva Hospice
Sixth Place: Tex Blast
Seventh Place: Temple Charter Academy
Eighth Place: Kiddo Kingdom Inflatable Fun Float
Ninth Place: American Heritage Girl Scout Troop TX #3444
Tenth Place: Baylor Scott & White Psychiatry
Our float was a combination of our Trackless train all decked out in Christmas followed by our delivery van transformed into a giant skull pulling our super awesome inflatable pirate ship! Let us know if you saw it!
Wow, it was a ton of work to make and plan our floats, but it was totally worth it! I can only imagine the immense administrative work that Temple has to do to make this Parade a success. Their efforts are much appreciated and our thanks goes out to all the leaders, administrators, staff and volunteers for all their hard work. Congratulations to all the winners and a big shout out to all who participated! It's truly a smashing event and we're humbled to call the wonderful city of Temple, our home.
Thank you, to all Temple and Bell County residents who weathered the 40° temperature to support the efforts!
